Since then, I love to read newspaper and as far I can remember I always looked at the business section about the PSE-Philippine Stock Exchange daily quotes. I hate it because I don't know why or how were the prices changes daily.
I did not expect that I had my "FINANCE SUBJECT" in my college which I have a high grades from that subject. At 18, and 2nd year college in Ateneo De Davao University I enjoyed my past time in our library where a bunch of old and new newspapers where bundle accordingly. So, it was then I always visit in our library to get the stock quotes daily. I was amazed how prices changes on a daily basis. I started to ask "THE WHAT, WHY and HOW" --why this happen or how can I anticipate if the stock is going up.
I graduated with a degree holder of BSC-major in Management Accounting last 2007 that was the time I search the "THE WHAT, WHY and HOW" problem.
NO one was told me to do it but, the "ME" who urges to find what I've looking for. I am so glad that I born this techy world where I can get all the data in just one click in the internet. As I am searching for what I am looking for I worked in Banana Plantation where the compensation is good enough but the problem is that I cant find joy and satisfaction.
Jan, 2008 I started my online stock trading with a trial of P25,000.00 during this early part of my career I do only NOOB or just speculation in choosing stocks base on the historical stock quotes prices. I don't know that during this period from "FIRST WEEK of NOV. 2007 to FIRST WEEK of MARCH 2009" was the bearish market. For other to know what bearish market mean is that the ALL indexes and Most Stock is in "PRICE FALLING". And I don't know that then, what was in my mind was just to learn and make profit as I can.
My first trade was the STOCK name was BRW-BROWN COMPANY in real property. I earned 3K. I was happy then, of course. I thought that was the beginning of becoming wealthy. lol....In my second trade was the STOCK NAME-BEL as days past by the price was going down. I little bit panic but then as
In August 2008, I asked my mom to have additional capital of P100, 000. I asked for an additional because my assumption then was during these month to December the Stock Prices is in bullish or up-trend based of last year event, 2007. I had not found historical chart then from past 5 years or decades. I don’t know that during this time the MAJOR-US Indexes was in deep recession the Lehman Brother incident, the Fannie Mae , the CAR industry GM, FORD, and so on….
From 120,000 capital I had it goes down to 80,000 I was panic then. I don’t know what to do. There are a lot of trials and options whether I quit or not. And again, I started to think again and searching the solution “THE WHAT, WHY and HOW”.
As I observed what happened in US Major Indexes will also happened in Philippine Index. So what I did I withdraw my money last November 2008 and start to study the history of STOCK MARKET and also finding what should you do to anticipate the event.
During November 2008 to August 2009 I learned so many things on how to become better trader. I learned that recession is an opportunity, and how to read the indexes with the used of financial tools.
August 2009 I deposit P 60,000 in my portfolio but I know during this month or the following month there would be a last wave of recession. I was hesitating then to do trading but I know if I won’t gamble I won’t gain. I can afford to lose money as long as I gain “: NEW LEARNINGS”.
This is the start of my journey as a STOCK TRADER…
SORRY if I am not fluent in my English folks and I hope you understand me…
Anyways as for my TIPS it would be easy for you to understand because I will do it technically and in layman’s words.
